Saw this in the newspaper and damn this takes body piercing to a whole new level .

I wonder if this will catch on to all those kids that pierce here in North America. This dude has the sickest of piercing I have ever seen.

that's from a festival in Korea or Vietnam or something of the like... from what I remember it's a sacrificial ceremony to make their gods give them good health by healing their wounds or something like that... I've seen MUCH worse than those things, objects big enough to require a person on each side of the pierce-ee to carry it around...

apparently they DO heal VERY rapidly though, sometimes even as fast as within a week... very strange stuff

I've seen way worse than that. Many times on trashy TV there've been idiots who put hooks through their backs and literally hung, suspended from the ceiling by these hooks. I've always wondered what possessed them to do it.

im sorry if i find body suspension disturbing. i mean hey, its not everyday we get to see someone sticking hooks in their flesh and HANGNING FROM THE CELING. I for one, will not go out and tell these people to stop what they are doing, but-I will not condone it. I think its sick.

do not think a person is closeminded or intolerant when they do not bend over backwards to approve of activities they find unacceptable.
