I am also trying to master the ink business but i guess I have a long way to go. I like this piece it kind of looks like the Xmen style.
You could maybe add a little bit more Dodge on the highlights, (no big issue really just a tip), I think that would add more depth to the picture.
nice stuff.

Please do me a favor and don't dodge, nor burn. For the sake of the world when doing skintones just grab a color off the palette. Dodge and burn are going to make you look like a burn victim and unless that is what you are going for don't do it.

This has been a public service announcement from PNMBAD (please no more burn and dodge)

thank you for your time

I dont think dodge and burn will make it a burn victim, Isnt that what all the comic book painters use? Its just a matter of amount, isnt it?

like i said in the other thread i posted--"my friend amy"---i am getting out of the dodge and burn techniques...it just doesnt look...umm...how do i say it...natural?? as if that even applies to this kind of art but oh well--matthew--i've noticed by your old posts that you're a fan of dodge and burn...it's not bad but you start to learn how to use colors so much better if you don't use them so much---thanx SIZE...i should scan the comic cover that inspired me to do this----xXxPZxXx--thanx for reassuring me heheh
