looks like that dude who did the preacher covers. mixed with bit o' biz. kinda like a "ive seen this style done a bunch lately" feeling when i look at it. which makes it less than interesting.

In case Roundeye doesn't come back, the dude who did the Preacher covers is Glenn Fabry--look up his work--it's well worth it. I can also see a bit of similarity, there...honestly, though, Mr. Fabry pushes the gritty, gnarly style quite a bit further, whereas you're edging more towards a slightly dirty cartoon style. (Not saying that's a bad thing...don't get me wrong!)
Anyway, I like the idea...I think it's great...I do agree that the style might need a bit more kick to it, a bit more oomph...something to make it distinctive...
...but, hell, who has that right from the outset? Style's something that comes with time. My advice would be just to carry on enjoying yourself with your art. That's the main thing. That, and getting rich.

i can see the connection too. but contrary Roundeye I say this in a complimentary way...
There are alot of artists painting in this manner. Kev Walker, Martin Emond, Biz and Fabry to name a few. All great artists. I bet there's room for one more 
Rendering looks solid and the image is interesting. Post more

He was a graphician in groups like Nooon and Sanity (the guys who made the famous Arte demo on Amiga).

the style has been around for over 50 years.. when francis bacon invented it. Im sure its ok to do work in the style of an artist who has been dead for about a decade
