Wow the forum has changed so much. Been a while since I've been here, don't recognise many names, but it seems like this place still has some life left in it. 
Well here's a pic I did. Pretty tired of working on it, but if you have any crits or comments, fire away, I'm thick skinned

one problem, his right foot look disorted and flat.

He's floating on some brown goop! I like the syle and rendering of this piece a lot. Looks like one of the game ads. Not much in the background and it kinda looks like he's floating since he's not standing on anything, but it's a great piece.

Odd: Thanks, I used photoshop 5.0 for this piece. I'd like to try painter sometime though. As for the foot, yes it is flat, I always tend to get lazy near the end of a piece.
Jami: Thank you. Yes I'm aware he's floating in space. I didn't really consider a background for this, but I should. I'm still trying to get good at character illustration before I move on to background work
