i like the way the pic flows from yellow into red
i saw some of your previous works as well and you are improving but try to make your pics less blurry, make them a bit more detailed.
i think the guy at the right looked better in the first pic btw

Cool, thanks. I tried to make the Character to the right a bit more angry in the last pic. Maybe he looks better in the first one when he looks more surprised.

i think that you are using the smudge tool way too much.
That and i think you should go in with the brush and actually start defining the faces, because they look too amorphous and undefinded. I don't get a sense of anger from any of them. :/ I dunno, keep practicing. Oh yeah, there is a Work in progress forum if you are not finished with the picture put it there.

i agree with the above--smudge tool isn't to be abused....are you working from reference?? cuz if you're not then i think it'd be a good way to start learning color, value blah blah blah...the very first thing i tried in photoshop was a lighter...im just saying...start off with little houshold things first maybe and work on up...do you sketch BTW?(not digitally i mean)--if you can try to post anything youve done with traditional mediums..i'd like to see--Cool

thanks for all replies, I think i have growing fond of this smudging tool. There are effects that can be made with that tool that rocks. I may used it a little bit too much in these pictures.
I am using pencil an Charcoal and ink more often than I am using Photoshop so I will make a new thread to showcase some of my sketches and stuff in there.
New Thread Comig soon.
thanks again.

I think it's the blue eyes on the guy on the right that make him look more cute than scarey. I like the fuzzy texture of this latest version though. I don't think it's over smudged. it's a neat style. but blue eyes seems out of place. seems too happy.

I think missed the second point of my response: that this is the wrong place to post this. You should post this in the WOrk IN PRogress section, not finished gallery.

I think I am finished now.
If I am doing anymore changes I will move that picture into the Work in progress Gallery.
thanks for the tip by the way.
