Hey guys, those tiles are really lookin sweet.
Thanks for the kind words about my tile folks. I personally thought it was kind of boring (just a sexy chick eating a strawberry), but I was too slammed with other stuff this week to come up with something more inventive. Se la vi.....
Personally, I'm a huge fan of Elliot's tile. Good stuff Maynard.
Can't wait to see it when it's finished.
Keep up the good work everyone.

I think one of the tile 'admins' should make every tile blendt better together when every tile is done. IMO it's a bit too blocky. No offence. |

I think it should be clarified exactly what it means to blend tiles... Your tile should be an extension of the sliver you are given. Not just your own picture with a few smudge lines connecting it to those around it. It shouldn't look like a blurry quilt when it's done, it should be one unified image. I don't mean this as an attack or harsh criticism, I think the tiles are looking great, but they just need to pull together a little more. |

Tinusch: I agree with that, however sometimes the borders don't lend well to that at all. Some of the tiles don't really have any clear, extendable borders, others have really great ones. So while a noble goal, I just don't see it totally working |

Sorry guys that I didn't update this past weekend. Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. So to everyone happy Thanksgiving! If there's one thing I am thankful for, it's Sijun forums... and the beauty of life!
Anyway, I'll send out more tiles tomorrow. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, thanks for playing Sijun Tiles 3.0. And to those that want to join, yes, there are spots left, I'll add you to the game tomorrow! |

31 Tiles!!!
alright.. I think Ive fixed the major problems in the tiles for now. I made as little changes to some of the tiles as possible.. some required a bit more.
I hope everybody is ok with the changes Ive made to make everything blend more seamlessly.
If you see that Ive changed your tile and you think its too much please Email me and we'll talk about it.
This game is really starting to come together. Great work everybody. |

There are some really great tiles in there. Thought the end result usually looks best if all the artists try to use the info from on the tiles edges and continue them out as much as possible and not just "smudge them out".
I would be happy to try and make a tile if there are any left to grab.

thanks |

Or are those empty? if they're empty, or someone's squatting on their tile, send it to me. |

if you havent recieved your tile yet.. just be patient. we have to wait for everybody to submit theirs who have been assigned already.
just because you got assigned a spot early doenst mean that the surrounding area of your tile is complete yet. |

Max I hope you get this. I sent it via e-mail but it didn't send through. So I did a private message via Sijun. I guess you didn't get that either.
Anyway, your tile is available at:
http://snow.prohosting.com/bonez02/images/max_kulich.jpg
You'll have to drag the address to the address bar manually 'cause my host doesn't allow outside references.. Hopefully I'll get a better host in the future.. |

well apparently the game has slowed right down. Please keep in mind that your tiles arent supposed to take more than a couple days to complete. |

Hey guys,
Man this thing is moving slower than snot on a cold winter's day. Sorry about the hold up. Been waiting on a couple of guys. Anyway,
we've got 1 more guy left on the list (root88). Meaning we have an excess of 7 tiles! Next 7 people to reply get those spots. |

thanx Awetopsy... If I had more time that day I'd refined it a bit more but I think it ended up ok.
Looking forward to see the final picture!
BTW: Are the other Tiles (v1 and 2) still around? - I'd like to check 'em out. |
