Hey guys,

Last year we had a game of Tiles and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in having another go at it. If people are interested, I'd be willing to organize it as I am currently unemployed.

OK Barebonez and I are gonna handle this together. Weve been chatting on ICQ and we are going to start the game.

we are going to make a few changes to this tiles game, hopefully for the better.

so here are the few simple rules.

1) Each Tile will be 200 x 200 pixels

2) Each tile will be sent with 15 pixel borders on whichever sides have already had tiles completed. Each tile must blend in to those borders.

3) The theme of this tiles game will be good vs. evil / light vs. dark. Your tile should reflect whichever side of the theme you are assigned. for instance, if you recieve your tile in your email with a statement like 'your theme is "evil"' then your tile should reflect something that represents evil to you. that something can be whatever you desire as long as it represents the theme assigned.

4) Each participant must leave a working email address in this thread

5) Each tile should take no longer than 2 days, from the time you recieve it, to complete unless extra time is granted by either Barebonez or myself.

6) This time, the tiles will be posted in the main Sijun tiles 3 Page as we recieve them as to allow everybody to see what work is completed on it so far.

7) The full tile picture will be 8 tiles across by 6 tiles high, making the total picture 1600 x 1200 pixels for easy resizing into desktop backgrounds which will be made at the end of the tiles game.

8) Finally, please keep the tiles clean, ie. no swearing/foul language. no pornography.

Why don't you guys do this at http://tiles.ice.org ? Its all automated. I can set it up so that only people you invite are allowed in. This also allows mutliple artists to work at the same time and no one needs to wait for any emails. Email me for more info at [email protected].
