They are both cool, would be nice to see a little bit of ground in the colored one, like you have in the sketch.

I actually like the pencil sketch more, the line art is more descriptive in it, but that's probably just me.

It's not pencil, it's done sitting in front of a computer.

Digital, you can't just play god! Who do you think you are? Er.. pretty cool. Pose looks familiar but guess it is a common pose.

I prefer the wacom sketch too, maybe because the feet look really blurry...

I get that a lot, people come up to me and say:

"Man, I don't want to sound like a ass goblin but your sketches are better then your colour work."

Do'you think it's 'couse I'm a bad colourer, or a good sketcher?

The colors kinda kills the nice depth in this piece. You have a great sketch, full of motion and volume. The coloring seems to flatten everything out.

I would work on distinguishing which shapes are closer to the foreground and which are to the backround, as they are geometric and confusing when such a rich color is applied.

By no means are you a bad colorer, you just need to work on your skills in establishing depth through tonal values.

Hope that helps, let's see more!

you're a good sketcher, you arent a great color-er study forms, study shadows,

in the area between shadow and light there's always a contrast, that's what the eye sees, the contrast, you have to learn to exxagerate it, you have good skill defining with lines, and it seems that the volumes all work quite well, you just need to translate that to colors,

try doing it in only 2 colors first, one for shadow and one for light, see how it comes out.... the place where shadow and light meets is where the magic should happen for the eye, that's what defines the form. not the gradient.

hope my rudeness assists you.

Yeah that helps, thanx, this is really good feedback.

btw, I'm not an artist, I'm a mathematician by nature.
