here's a pic i did for my buddy EJ on his comic book "Stone Monkey". it's a bit old but finally uploadedit o my site. the story is about that old chinese myth about a monkey who was born/created from i believe a piece of jade. anyhow it is also the legend of how budhism came to china.

Hey itchi, I think I've said this before, but I love your stuff and this piece is no exceptional. Nice job! I especially like the way you handled the smoke.

thanks very much, get-up! i think i should have varied up the swirlies in the smoke now that i look at it again

I like this alot. a possible fix though. the hand that is in the foreground, looks like the hand is backwards (thumb is on the characters left side (our right) but should be on the inside. (opposite site). Its hard to tell though ,because its almost like he has 2 thumbs. one on each side of the hand, but the hand in the back doesn't show the same issues.

BTW. I'm considering coloring this if I have time this week.

Good stuff.

My only crit, would be that his pinky finger looks a bit off, almost like it's a second thumb. I know, a small crit, but I'm too busy checkin' out the sweet line work to find anything else to crit.

very cool man! Your work is all that..

Only little bit of crit i have is the back, It is twisted but you cant see that, which makes it a bit less natural.. you know if you look at the pic you gotta see and understand instantly how the monkey is moving, and changing the back could add to that.
(Your probably going like "what the hell is he talking about" but fuck it)
