Since it's up at Marvel.com, I can post it now.

I don't usually do this, but I'm really happy with the way this one turned out so I thought I'd share. The orignal pencils were done by Pat Olliffe and inked by Al Williamson. I underpainted it and got rid of the original lineart. so here we go. On sale in January.

There R perspective issues (the face ain't lined up with the costume-head), but your rendering style is pretty neato, I especially dig teh eye.

indeedy. i think i should have underpainted the whole face first before blocking in the costume. i realized that after i sent in the final comp, but it was too late

maybe i'll try another one for myself.

some things i dont like:

-the eye seems to be displaced
-the anatomy of the head looks not like a girls one

mmh, its only my opinion ;-))

yeah, you're right about the head anatomy. i wish i could have changed that as well, but i don't think the penciler would have appreciated that. still trying to figure out how far i can push things with these covers. they can be really picky.

hmmm... on second thought, maybe i'm not so happy with how this one turned out. the criticisms are spot on though.
