I've been trying to adjust to Painter 7 from Photoshop and I must say that painter blow me away, if only it have a glazing brush like photoshop and not those power hungry watercolor brushes. This image is a scene from a story I'm developing for my class.

It's nice. Lighting is moody and strange. Tell us more. |

you should make the smoke a wee bit more transparent.

woah! thanks for the quick replies
elliot - In this scene, the character is exploring a new terraforming planet. Those columns are supposedly fast growing fungus that spew out more fungus to provide oxygen and atmosphere (Red Planet movie ripoff!).
mathew - i'm taking it REAL EASYYYY! CAN'T YOU TELLLLLLL!!!!!!!...(gasping)
Odd, Balistic and Merlyns - thanks and you are right about the smoke, though I'm usually too lazy to go back and fix my paintings. The inspiration for it died already.
Hoodz - use really small canvas. This one started as 700 by 300 then I resize it to 1500 one all the color and value are correct. During the beginning phase, I tend to use large brushes but since the pixel are so low, its fine. Ryan Church paintings are usually under 2000 pixel.
