Hi there. This is like, my uh..2nd post here. I've been trying to draw a good pic of my Comic book character Ricki Suavo. Some of you may have seen a sketch over in the 'works in progress' section. I opened my good buddy Flash5 and did the outline to this: . Then i exported it to jpg and opened it in photoshop and finished all the coloring. This is the first thing i've done that I'm really happy with. Its exactly the way Ricki should look. Tell me what ya'll think of it (good/bad). Oh yeah, his sunglasses act as his eyes and change shape accordingly, for instance if he were to squint, his glasses would be smaller. I thank you if you had the patience to read all of this.

Hey man, welcome to the board. If the image came out the way you wanted it to, then fantastic! If it's exactly how you want it to look like, then there's no comments to be made .

From my perspective, this dude does look very slick. I can picture him at a disco or something like that with all the ladies hanging off of him. Good start and keep drawing.

Thanks for the compliments! I've got some pen/ink drawings of the comic book I wanted to do about him a long time ago and I think i'm gonna scan them in and post 'em on my site, then continue the story with a combination of flash and photoshop...I'm in art skool, so after I take life drawing he'll look a little more 'there'. But he's pretty damn snazzy the way he is now too =]
