Putting my realistic work on the back burner for the moment. Some new pieces in a new style for me.

I like them, just one question:

are you still predominently using the lassoo tool or is there more freehand tablet work in these? I am particularly curious as to how you do your lines.

colors are a bit flashy and your style seems not to be totally achieved yet. But it's nice and promising to me... Keep on posting.
The first one is the best to me. This one-stroke greek-like nose curve, I like.

toast!... right on target... I'm working on the style for the purpose of selling illustrations to magazines. I've developed a list of magazine art directors. Gonna do a first mailing of samples in several days...

Frog... Nope... the lasso tool is used very little with this style. I do use it but very sparingly. These are mostly freehand tablet work... (BTW -- in my more realistic style I often use the lasso tool in a very freehand way ... Regarding the lines, I use a large brush and then often spend a lot of time reshaping each line with the eraser set to the same brush style. One of my big fascinations with using the computer to create art has always been, the eraser can be as effective a drawing tool as the brush.

ELLioT... thanks... agreed... still working on it... The first one was the last one...

You amaze me! I'm gonna start calling you Mr Re-invent Himself for now on! You definetly need to get yourself an agent right away, and believe me you will get work right away, especially in magazines doing editorial illustrations! Great stuff as always!
