Made a new pic today after coming back from the Digital Arts World show in London... saw Dave McKean speak, and was *slightly* impressed and inspired so to speak...
Any crits and comments are more than welcome

Wow, that is very well done. The middle one is insane, it looks like his fingers are poking right through his eyesockets. Awesome job. |

thanks a lot tinusch! =)
others have also commented on the middle one and the eyes... dunno why it'd look like they'd go deep into it since I was only holding my hands over my eyes... oh well =) |

I'm sure it's just an illusion as a result of the high contrast, but it's a really cool effect. I think you should maybe even blacken out the end of your right middle finger to complete the effect. |

thanks guys!!
McKean was great at the show... VERY funny guy... he started off by telling us a story about a story his father told him, which he had cleverly illustrated... he's a very very good storyteller with words as well from what I saw... then he showed us some animation he had done (a buckethead video that was smashing and some prose thing)
there was quite a bit of stuff that you've seen in lots of places that you were like WHOA he did that?? So it was quite spiffy! Not too much technical discussion though |
