Here is some costume designs for my entertainment class at Art Center. I started this with small 2 inches sketches then scanned and colored in Painter 7. Ryan Church is our instructor (how cool is that!) and I'll try to keep updating my latest progress in that class here.
ps: there is a movie script of one of the character here on my site. You can see the process stroke by stroke.

Oh wow very cool, your color is very good looking. And damn... Ryan Church? You're so lucky...(Ryan Church was one of the artists that worked on Star Wars Episode 2 for those that don't know) I know a couple people who go to art center, I've visited there once, it's quite an impressive place. Well keep up the good work ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

uhhh these are very cool, really like them.
Hmm don't know what to crit.
One quection tough:
Can someone explain the types of schools you got over there in America?
In Europe(Germany) there are basicly two different kind of artschools.
All of them can be visited after finishing school and of course after being accepted by them. You don't pay for them either.
Studying lasts often 4-5 years.
Artacadamy = A professorate will guide and help you but not teach you. You have to learn by trial and error and teach pretty much yourself.
-Often tradtional stuff like painting or doing sculptures.
Also exhibitions. You won't do commercial stuff or something like that.
FH = It's kind of the "usualy" studying.
Doing projects with other guys, improve further basic skills like drawing and get prepaired to the real world you going to work in.
You can study for example visual comminucation or illustration on there.
We also have filmacadamies.
Sorry if my question sound stupid but I repeadedly read something about artcollege and others and don't know what exactly what these are. |
