Its actually a pretty good drawing, I'm not sure what kind of critism you're looking for, so I'll just spout.
The coloring job probably needs the most work, holes in the pants color, not much shading and it doesn't actually follow the contors of the body that well. As for the sketch, I like the looks of it, anatomys pretty good, along with the pose, perhaps someone more experienced can help you out more with that stuff. the only part that bugs me is his left hand, the cloth wraps around his hand strangely. Might want to clean up the line art a bit and then it'll be good.
hope to see more from you, I like anime stuff. |

Great start, but from my opinion, it could use a bit more contrast if you want the 3D look. Especially in the low lights. Use darker shadows. I think that's why the first one looks more alive. The black lines add for contrast. The second one with the thinner lines needs areas with more black to make it jump out. Good start and keep on drawing - though you might want to try adding darker shadows in the second one just to experiment. good luck! |

I like the first one the most. I think that you could make the second one more realistic by making those two large blue things (dont know how to call it) something less angular, more waving.. (hope you understand the idea.. had to search for these words myself )
