lol I suck. This is my first art post. I'm a newbie at drawing. This took fifteen minutes. Oh, and I don't have a wacom, so I can't do all the bitchin' painting type things you guys do. Not that I could do them anyway, but... o_0

Kain Victus <-: Hehe, tnx, though I originally painted the knifes I tried a new way to speed things up and to get an 100% accurate perspective. So I modeled the knifes in XSI (3D)and placed them on top of my first drawing and then rendered them out with basic lighting. Then I replaced the original drawn knifes with the rendered ones and repainted the knifes on top of the rendered image to further add lighting and detail.
I know allot of people consider this as cheating but one thing as an illustrator I learned is that you have to deliver things FAST and GOOD LOOKING. and it's the result not the how you make it matters.
The thing is to make the least amount of work to achieve the best result. So using the help of 3D in some complex perspective situations and lighting situations is a really efficient way. Is a smart thing to use the help of 3D to help out and enhance 2D and the other way around to. Thus if I'd only used the 3D rendered knifes it would have looked awkward and weird.
