Yea, Geocities, I know...I'll have a web site up HOPEFULLY around Christmas.
I put it on the finished work board, as it's in it's final stages. This is a portrait of a friend of mine that I hope to surprise her with. I plan to put a tiara on her head, and I might even venture as far as to say add color. What do y'all think? Does black and white do it justice? Also, the backround, is it too much, just enough, not enough?
Thanks for all the C&C. By the way, I used a photo referance and added the dress and necklace. About 6-8 hours total if I had to guess.

Nice picture!
You wanted commends so know you have it
I think her right arm is too dark, the lower lip is too big (on the right side)and her neck seems to big...
Do you use a reference? Btw i guess black and white is nice for this pic.
Thats from me so far, hope that helps a little...

Thanks for the suggestion on the web hosting, I'll check it out.
Ghosa: Thanks for the comments on the anatomy. I have since sharpened up the picture and changed quite a bit. I agree with alot of what you are saying and I'm pretty sure I fixed most of this up for the version right here.

As for the reference, I have one for the face, the lower neck and upper body I conjured up myself.
Thanks again all!
