you take a photo a a underwearmodel, paint over it, and use some filters?!

neff's got the basic idea ... back in '94 adobe had just introduced the path tool, which i though was totally cool because when used for making masks, paths require much less memory & consume much less drive space than alpha channels. (anybody remember what memory cost back then?)

so essentially we create & save several masks with the path tool, and then use the color balance tool to shift the color values of the different areas. that's basically all there is to it.

an oldie but a goodie -- an underwear catalog model becomes dc's silver age ringbearer. 100% photoshop. logo modelled & rendered with long-defunct pixar typestry. circa 1994.

Gotta love that lens flare!! I remember when I first saw photoshop back in '94-ish.. Lens flare was dope then.
