Well... school really slowed this one down. Anyway, it's done, and printed, so I'd appreciate C+C on what I could improve on for next time, not whether this picture is good or not. Thanks.
And yeah, I was going for the outline, cartoon-like look for it.

I think the pic is ace, the facial expressions are excellent, my only crit is that the lighting is a little bland, you could have done with being a bit bolder with the shading of the faces. |

Can't see the pic, but the title of this thread sounds promising. In a very decent and non-secksual manner, of course. |

!! What kind of dog is that? it looks just like mine... only, we don't know what she is...
The panting, not bad but it needs alot more contrast. add some darks to the skin tones for starters... (I mean REAL dark. but keep the current level of lightness also.. hence contrast.)
Cute dog... what's it's name? I named mine Deunan (after Masamune Shirow's Appleseed character) ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

For a cartoon look, you should have definitely darked the outlines a lot more. It looks very unfinished at this stage. |

It's a beagle, and her name is Lucy. Anyway, what i meant was the sketchy look was being attempted, not a cartoonish look. Cause that's what I'm getting into. |
