Hi everybody.

I loved the drawing I have done and decided to color it.
I am bad in using colors (chz) so it is BlackandWhite.

What do you think?

Nice work!
The only thing that I recognized as a bit wrong is the beginning of her hair. It looks like the skin is stretched, like if someone pulls her hair...
Maybe you could work on her shirt ... she looks very clean and her shirt looks like she's a bum (yeah, lot of 'em in vienna).

But apart from these things: really good drawing!

Jaa, hmmm, it looks a bit odd - you are right.
And yes. I just spend 1 min on the shirt.
Should fix it, yeah.

,thanks hipo.

*Edit* Alright, that's the colored version.

Yeah, man, you're definitely goin' for it. Her right and her left shoulder dun really fit together, tho. Take it easy, ye got some potential, I'm just sticking to good ole motherfucka Goethe: "Auch darf nicht geleugnet werden, da wir persnlich einem Buch gar manchen Druckfehler verzeihen, indem wir uns durch dessen Entdeckung geschmeichelt fhlen".

Hi Max, hope you don't mind me thowing in my 2 cents here..I did a quick paint over to illustrate what i mean.

First of all i want to say that you have a very good starting point..She's allready really lovely looking and i think it has a lot of potentials. Well done.

Ok, some critics:

Now, the painting looks a little flat in some areas and the shading gives the viewer a wrong impression of the shapes, especially on the neck. It apears like the neck is in front of the tshirt. There is a brighter line along the lower edge of it.

The eyes looks great, but are too far away from eachother. you also need to make the nose more defined than it is. Try some harder and darker shadows on the sides, below and add a brighter highlight to it. This could also be done to the lips and around the area. The ears looks like they are growing out of her chin. Try to separate them more and push them further in.

The last thing i did was to crop the picture different. I added more space to all sides. It's more harmonic to the eye that way and it adds space allowing the picture to breath more.

Hope can help you in any way

Good luck!

-Mikael

I'm endless happy that you posted in my thread

You opened my eyes !!!
I knew something was wrong with her neck, just could't find out what.
Oh yes, the eyes...the place between them should be as big as one eye...
Till now many people mentioned the nose.
I tryed to fix it but It always get too dark - I have to work on that
Ha, the ears, absolutely right.

This cropping tipp was one of the best I have ever heard of.
I never thought of something like this but now I see the big difference.
Thank you very, very much for the overpaint.
I really appreciate it.
Never got a overpaint - but this one is very helpful

Thank you for the effort.
You helped me very much.

- max

Yes, a paintover is very valuable.
