Gecko I love your robots. You should spend a bit more time on one or two of them and get them nicely rendered out so you can stick them in the robot/mech thread. |

this is for a proposition for a cover for a photo catalog for the school I go to. It's a technincal school, and it has a kind of bad reputation about it being a gay school because the quantity of boys that actually goes there. I don't think my drawing pleases the jury, though. I will probably paint a more *standard* cover too, as an alternative for the jury, because I don't think they'll get many contributions for the contest, and I'm pretty sure that I would win if I just took my time and did something seriously.
Oh, the drawing:

my hub went down. no network for a week. oy.
painter is still having its way with me. I can't draw with it (good excuse). You have to let it do its thing and try to find something useful and react to that. I am trying to resist the urge to "fix" it in PS, cause I'd be right back where I was. But eventually, I think I will use them both.

damn this thread is long... a general question to everyone, do you do sketches or refs to maintain the right propositions for these pieces, my problem in speedpainting is usually freaky shaped organs and perspectives. *asks carefully you to reply this* |

Just trying to be as fast as possible...
less than 5 minutes, talking on phone!
This time a self portrait
I know it's not even close to the level of professionals here, but I will keep trying |
