A friend of mine said I should post something here too.. I saw a dead animal when I was walking outside, it had been hit by truck a bit earlier, after seeing it I got this crazy idea:

Frost: Isric mentioned he was using the lasso.
Now Frost, I'm still waiting for a flood of contributions from you. I love the refreshing humour most of your stuff has. Combine that with your obvious talent, and you got some pretty snazzy artwork to feast upon. So, get painting! ... or not. :/ |

A little pangolin. Not too thrilling, not to speedy, fun though. From ref.
Isric, I love your work, your compostition and color choices are excellent. I'm sure any implementation of "more realistic" is going to be stunning.
Timo, your painting is freaking me out. |

Isric i love your style, its very bright and has powerful contrast or at least how i see it, peertty
I swear you have a beatiful semi-realistic cartoony style. Its not anime, its not cartoon yet not realism, somewhere in there, i like it hmm way too much i like it way too much hehehe :X
Stick to this style and tell everyone else to shuv it LoL (jk but hmm its unique stick to it)

S4Sb: That's my favorite in this thread by far, I love the mood in it, a true example of an image worth a thousand words. |

glad you liked the last one.. I just never know.
Here are some I know nobody will like. They are, uh, different. These are the first pastels I have tried, I like to do them, so I will be doing more. They do not scan well for some reason, the colors are a lot more subtle than they are here.

Spooge, one hell of a pastel artist you'd like is Robert Frederick Blum - guess you know his stuff already. He was a contemporary of Sargent, whistler, twatchman and co. The last serie of work he did ( the Japan trip ) before dying is amazing, oils and pastels. Almost none of his works on the net, sadly. I got a book with some of his japan images somewhere. |
