Awesome work One thing feels wrong though; The right-rear leg is to much to the front (I have the impression it lines up with the left-front leg). This gives me the feeling of 'unballance'. ![](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

Waw "Gigeresque" man !
There seem to be a problem at the joint between hindlegs and the torso, but overall it's a really cool job you have done there. I love the texture. |

I called it 'end' mostly to signify a certain finality - defeat. the creature I started out to draw was to be something dark and sinister, an embodiment of a god or an entity, one whose strength would be absolute. I hope I accomplished that, crits are welcome
---
I updated the background and a few small things a tad.

ahw - yup, definite giger influences
baldrox - you are right about the posture. I realized about 2/3rds of the way through the rear leg and the front leg are on the same 'depth' to the viewer, which meant detailing it was a little awkward as I wasn't sure what to do. But it seems also he should be able to stand that way, just a little unbalanced
I made a coloredversion too, but I'm not sure which is better. It seems to take away something from the black and white and add something else... |
