This is one of the best images I have ever seen. It's just fantastic. How did you get the Idea? The human mind surprises me. Anyway, I love the colors and the level of detail in this image, and when I figured out the connection between the wolves, and the three little pigs....the straw.....sticks.....stones, my jaw just dropped to the floor. I hope this goes out in print in stores all over the world so I can buy one. Or would you send one to sweden? |

my entry for the eatpoo golem contest. here's the eatpoo thread.
that's at 20%. here's a high res 33% version (388k). details at 100%:
detail1 - the first pig, and some straw
detail2 - the third pig, and some nice brickwork
detail3 - the stick golem's big spiky hand
detail4 - wolves, with ugly brushwork
i'm proud of what i've accomplished, but not entirely happy with the picture. despite all the planning i did (eatpoo WIP thread) there are a lot of things i didn't foresee. the main thing is that the stick golem's right arm lines up with his left leg, which creates a very bad tangent. same with the stick and straw bodies. the other big problem is the picture is divided rigidly into areas of color. my pictures usually only involve one or two elements, so i didn't realise this would be a problem. a couple of easter eggs, though i doubt you can find them without seeing a print.
speaking of which... some people on eatpoo have asked for prints, so i'm happy to oblige them . prints are US$15, PM or mail me if you're interested.
anyways. i learnt a whole lot doing this pic. a big thanks to everyone that helped me along in the eatpoo WIP thread. i can still make changes before i do the prints, so c&c welcome.
i don't have a good title for this piece yet. any suggestions?

It took me a little while to work out what was going on, but once I did: fantastic. |
