This is probably going to be the last piece done in Painter for a bit as I'm going back to Photoshop for a wee bit. Any crits would be good, especially anatomy, as I'm trying to remember bits and bobs from my last life drawing class.

ceenda! whoa!
i love the background character, he looks so statue-like, half-sunken in sea. that's really great, i'm not sure if you wanted him to look like build of one piece of rock, but that's what i see. reminds me of LOTR when they travel the river between those two huge statues.
about the guy in front, he's helmet looks a little distorted, like a metal bucket done wrong :)
the arm looks funny, like the upper half is too long, and the muscles too few and big. not sure how to tweak the anatomy.

Nice drawing dude
the stoneman in the background looks great, but this character in the front seems to have some issues, i got the impression that he's falling backwards, or hovering in the air even? and what gecko said is true too, but overall it's nice! keep it up!

The stone guy in the bg is awesome ceenda. I'd like to see some water dripping off of him though. Nice one

awesome.

I think the cape could be softened a bit. lose the edges. it's so sharpe and bright it becomes a focal point for me. I would try to put the focus on the faces/interaction between the characters.
and water dripping off the stone giant would be cool add to the scale maybe.
looks great tho=)

Thanks for the comments guys. The idea about the water dripping off is a great one.

Gecko: Hehe, the guy is based on an early concept art pic for Thief II with these guys who have bucket heads. They didn't appear in the final game though. Thanks for the anatomy crits too, sounds right.

AdezJ: Thanks, the guy is actually meant to be flying some distance above the water and much closer to the camera but the effect didn't quite work.

Max Kulich: Thanks.

Jezebel: Heya Jez, great to know you're still on Sijun!

Rinaldo: Thanks, I did have a version where the cape was much rounder and softer but I sharpened it up which was possibly a bit too sharp.

Badbreath Warrior: Cheers man. Lots of peeps from the UK here nowadays.
