Hey=) I just finished this.

haven't posted much (anywhere) for ages.
a lot of the stuff here is style test work for a comic/graphic novel I'm working on. seeing as I've always kinda swaped style here and there, for whatever was required. It's been hard to nail something down. I think I'm getting there. A lot of things clicked for me in this last pic. it's prolly a bit too stiff/overworked in places, but anyway.

I was hoping to have a new site up ages ago but I was being hosted by cgcommunity which died a little while back... so I went back to my old host... put up the new WIP site then I was gonna get some space of my own so didn't get back into the design right away...then my HD crashed and I lost the original files which I needed to complete said new site...and I'm not sure I still have the old one anymore. so I got a half finished site up now which I will have to remake from scratch (boring). don't hold your breath

Hey Rinaldo, nice too see you around again. I always loved your style. Kept checking your website now and then but you never updated.

Great work! cool characters and nice colours in your rendering.

I really like seeing your sketches, they look lots of fun.

I always look at your stuff, but this simply blasts me out of the water. Soooooooo Good. I especialy like your woman in red. How old are you and what training have you taken? Also, What styles did you look at to create these pieces?

ugh...really sorry for late reply. been busy last week. (but not too busy to reply..I'm just slack=)

thanks everyone for the kind words. I kinda forgot how nice it is to post and get comments on stuff=)

Bg- lol yeah it prolly has been a year. sad=/....get on ICQ (or whatever) and give me a buzz. you have gotten really freakin good man. you scare me:P

NeoFun-thanks=) I'm 21 pretty much (in a few weeks)..for art I taken bugger all training in terms of school/etc. graphic design course a while back and sitting at home all day drawing.
I been looking at a lot of mignola/Alex Toth lately erm... Enrico Marini (european comic artist) has been a big influence in this newer work. I would be here all day talking about who I hack=)
binke says Isric, a lot of the same motifs I think. to be honest I try not to think about it too much. just leads to brain melt down:P

A. Mount-is it a problem? I can tone it down a bit next time if it is=/ soz.

AliasMoze- hey! I haven't seen you around anywhere for ages...what are you working on now? (if UR still reading this).

I'm glad that no one hates where I am trying ot go with this stuff. stil la bit shakey about it myself.
working on sequentials atm. hope I don't get caught up in more freelance b4 I have something to show.

-silber a lot of people like that pic. I did it ages ago but never finished 'cos I wasn't really sure how to. would have killed it back then I think (Was done over a year ago)
It was a mess in terms of layers and I fixed it up (complicated, not worth talking about) but I lost the newer version in comp crash and now I gotta do all that crappy fixing again.
I'll get around ot it one day

Seraphire - thanks=) I lurk at sam's board. was gonna post there when I have some sequentials. I need help with that shit=)
should post there more often tho...I'm always warey of cross forum posting tho. never liked it..soo many forums around now=/
