I feel numb,

From what I understand the forum split, and all the "good guys" left, and now hardly visit this forum for the love of their new playground.

And I am now becoming aware that alot of silly stuff is happening here. I don't wanna see either the "elite" or the "nice" people go.

What will happen to the absolutely "crap at art" people like me who have enthusiasm but only ever posted a couple of things, and for the better part are learning from the people here, well those that haven't left.

Im not a good enough artist to make the "cut" for the new team. and I accept that. Makes me feel like crap, but I can accept that.

I genuinely fear that this is the begining of the end of things. I blame no one, least of all Enayla.

For Enayla,
I stand behind you in the decision you have made. You have done more than I think is required of you. And for that I thank you.

I don't have the answer, and I don't have the solutions. I only have what is left of this site untill someone eventually pulls the plug, so I have to put my nomination forwrd.

Enayla, I feel so sorry for you. The only way to describe how you've been left is "right in the shit". Dhab is v busy, yeah, but there should have always been at least another mod around as support.

No-one could expect nor wish 1 person to fully moderate and stonewall the insults from a portion of 5000 members. I kinda agree with some of the other views, that your just too nice a person to have a moderator position. If this board had'nt decended into the depths of llama shite it is in now, (I've lurked here since '99), and it was still full of the nice, courteous people it was full of then, you'd be an ideal moderator.

But not with the scores of 13 year old high school fuckups that frequent it now.

Keep your chin up, be strong, and keep posting, your work is some of the best and most polished I've seen on this board.

Oh, and report all the people who sent you abusive emails to their ISP's :P

I think she's one of the most energetic and highest contributers to this place, and has one of the best attitudes, and screen personalities... as it were. I've alwasy had the upmost respect and admiration for her, and her talent. She is a big inspiration to me.

Personally, I think that only 3 moderators is nowhere near enough to contend with the 5000 users! I cannot see how any of the problems to do with the site could be blamed on Enayla, or even Dhabih. And what is the downfall in question? That the servers been down a couple of times? Big deal! You're dealing with computers here, they are NOT reliable! I know, as I've got to work with them, and if they were, I wouldn't have a job .
I haven't actually seen Sumaleth or Dhabih post in a long time, so technically it's only one moderator (only just reads topic title ), and I don't think "I" could cope with that, especially considering the amount of posts this place gets in a day!
I don't think, however, that Dhabih has lost interest, he probably just doesn't have the time to support this place.

I was never aware of a downfall, this place is one of the best communities I've ever come across! A mass archive of incredible talent, and a source of inspiration for myself and I'll bet many others too.

If it was in my power I'd have all the people who sent rude e-mails, send apologies! It is -NOT- her fault! How could it possibly be?! And what can she possibly do about it by herself? Also, you should never be rude to a lady! It's just not done.
She is obviously upset by it all.
I for one would hate to see you give up Enayla! I think with a few extra moderators and some extra administrative powers to those who are devoted to this site, like yourself, could really turn things around.

And some of the users should take time to think before they post. A little bit of maturity, manners and intelligence isn't really too much to ask for, is it?!

Enayla - I am sorry to see you have to be put in that sort of position. No person on this forum can be excused for thier bad behaviour. Enayla - good for you. Moderating this bullshat of late wouldn't be a healthy experience. The only real 'problem' with the forum right now seems to be that it's full of arbitrary complaints. And when you have time for all this ponderance and pontification, people... it seems rather obvious that you are not spending your time on art.

I'm really sorry to hear that Enayla, but I completly understand how you feel. This forum is way too big for one person alone. You should be creating those masterpieces of yours that I love to see than having to babysite those of us who choose to act like children.

All in all I though you did a really good job. I really wish we knew what was going on with Dhabih, he needs to give someone here (who's active here) supreme control so we can appoint moderators as necessary. Hey Faust, think your up for something like that :P
