Wish I had more time to flesh this out, but deadlines are eating my head.

I think his latest picture is wonderful. *puts it in her collection of Craig Mullins pictures for future inspiration and reference* And I think he is definitely experienced enough to know exactly what he's doing, and people should stop harping on him any time there is a small percieved fluctuation in his style and just let him experiment as much as he darn well wants. These are supposed to be just for fun, after all, aren't they?
I'm going to try to post another pic here, once I can put one together that doesn't completely suck... c_c

Here's a rather timid image... I guess he's a bit sad because he has to go to school on Arrakis and his only friend was eaten by a worm.
Many of you seem to have very nice textures in your images (Gecko, etc.) - can anyone tell me if that kind of textures are available somewhere online, or should I just buy different kinds of expensive paper and try feeding it to my scanner?

catahoochee...that's such a wonderful skunk!
Very nice works everyone!!
saffron...you can try doing the following:
Get a whole bunch of photos off the net...slap them on top of eachother in grayscale to produce some interesting background texture (you can make a custom brush out of it too). Also, you can paint some nice custom brushes to give you a specific desired texture. You can try taking a wax crayon and a sheet of printer paper, laying it over an object and "rub" the texture onto the paper and scanning it. If you think about it, there are quite a lot of ways to get textures.

Dune's such a great book. I wouldn't have thought there were really any schools on Arakkis though . |

it's not very good and it's not finished but this is something I've been working on. getting color tones correct has been very difficult for me. it started as a doodle and as a result I also am aware the anatomy is flawed, however despite issues with anatomy and perspective I am happy that the composition and pose are more dynamic and fleshed out than in some of my prior work. any advice would be appreciated.
