OOh, nice one T! I like the way in which he looks nothing like a nice person.
Here's "alice in wonder-gas-mask-land!":

w00t! that looks awesome bang, you've been improving. i thought that was by oblagon at first glance (that's a good thing). if i had time i'd do a little super-deformed gas mask trooper...

He is improving dramatically, Mr. T - that is why people are commenting on his image.
Who are you to decide what WE should think is or is not 'awesome'? I happen to think his pic IS awesome. Are you jealous or somethin' that people took the time to specifically point out his work instead of yours? |

[Edit]this is where some useless nonsense was written[/edit]
Please, post a picture Pixelsoldier, and you too Bang (by the way - I've never been to "taco", what were you talking about?!). Everyone, join in...I'd really think it'd be fun to compare the stuff done in The old gasmask thread with a more evolved approach on the same subject.

No, you're wrong Novacaptain.
We stated our opinions, and Mr. T made it an issue. I replied with my reasoning for saying why I liked Bang's pic. Like you said yourself, it is just a matter of opinion. Who cares WHY I said I liked Bang's pic? It shouldn't matter. I said I liked it because I do, it shouldn't have to go any further than that. |

[reserved for the pic]
gimme an hour
---
pixel: right. i was expecting something like this. as for the jealous part, i got enough comments on irc, and sijun is just a place where i can get additional c&c. noone said you must comment on my pics.
i did phrase my post quite ironically, my bad there, and i apologize.
just to mention, lots of people are improving dramatically, and that isn't really an argument, you know? i'm not telling you what to think. stating my opinion just like you stated yours.
we may discuss this further in the other section of the forum, if you want to.

Nyqvist, valkommen hit! Great drawing...reminds me a lot of counterstrike/soldier of fortune type characters.
Klaivu That is so cool...it's great to see your participating! I like the flashlight eyes so much...i wish i had those when i wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.
Ceenda...that looks scary as hell...i wouldn't like to be caught by one of those guys. Hmm...the text is inverted (horizontal flip?) hehe Great work on this one...very moody
Bang, that looks nice, the color makes it look like he's in the desert or something. hot hot atmosphere. good stuff.
Highfive- A "tesla rifle"? That's awesome! I love the torn coat. There's a little bit of a perspective issue on that building behind him...Post more, please!
ValarianROOT That's a nice design, really ephasizes the mask in gasmask. Too bad about the jpeg compression...it kills the detail.
Sightunseen-nice, try adding shadows to define the volumes better.
Novacaptain - I can't believe you write to yourself...in public!
keep it rolling everyone!
And YOU, join in as well!

klaivu: That is awesome! Scary, like you're hiding and this guy appears, turns on his torchlights and starts scanning the room trying to find you.
novacaptain: Heh, in the UK police write the word police back to front on cars so that you can read it in the wing mirror. Figured this guy would be so huge he could chase cars...
okay... you got me, it was the horizontal flip. |
