that's how it always starts- just a little acrylic here and there, just for kicks. soon you're hooked, then you start dabbling in the hard stuff, oil paints or mixed medium. Pretty soon you're a starving artist on the streets of new york, willing to sell yourself for a palette knife or some clean canvases.
