Hey all, I finally finished this piece which I had lying around by adding the actual towers (Orthanc, and Barad Dur). I did this for a contest in which I lost. I was intending on coloring this with either acrylic or photoshop, but ended up liking the look of just the colored pencil. The pieced-together scan looks kinda blotchy, but oh well. I made a little custom 'frame' too so it wouldn't be as boring heh. Two Towers logo is added with PS of course. Anyway here it is:

I like ure poster very much - Gandalf and Strider/Aragorn r perfect! The others r also good but those two especially caught my eye. Really good job.

i think there's too much empty/dead space in the middle and too much going on in the corners.
that problem might be solved with some colors though.

Hi

I heve to agree with SiLeNt_Uk.
Gandalf and Aragorn are perfect.
Also Gimli is well done.
Frodo and some of the others are a bit different to the actors.
But I like the idea of this picture.
Especially the two towers, to the left and to the right.

the artwork itself is excellent, though I think the piece lacks composition. Also the contrast is low compared to the Title and it kind of throws everything off balance.

I think your drawings are really, really well done. The design of the poster doesn't look as strong. It's not bad, but it could be a lot better. Your main problem seems to be that you've made all your elements the same size. Try making the central character larger, that will add some size contrast and bring a "focus" to the poster. Also, the idea of the two towers framing the picture is a good one, but they're very subtle right now. Maybe try making them a little more prominent in the composition. Hope that helps a little.
