i am a real dragon ball fan. i watch it since i go to elementry school. at age 7.
at that time i was still watching dragon ball. not Z.

anyways, your goku isnot bad.
one thing that i want to point out tho.
is his hair. goku's hair aint like that.
it is more like 2 bunch of hair at his right and 1 bunch of his hair at his left.

it is hard to explain. u just need to look at the offical goku carefully, it is very easy to see the partern.

by the way, i read the Cell Sega from comid book. therefore i am pretty sure what i am talking about

you traced to improve you drawing skills? no. never. you can never get better by tracing. use things as reference, but never trace. trust me, it works really good

JD Leon, read his thread he got the linework at the official site and when goku is in a fight or doing something like that his hair actully goes back!

Rather, he copied it (not traced), which I have done before but it doesn't involve creativity. I'd much rather see something original.

And I thought his hair went gold when it sticks up like that.

I didnt trace anything, i copied.
Sure there is 0 creativity in it, but it helps me to draw lines where i want em to be!

I watched DB and DBZ and DBGT Since i was very young heh, its not too bad, his hair should be fully black especially not grey, it doesnt quite have those lines around it... sometimes on a certain angle light hits and a bit of grey represents as the light hitting it. same goes for his eyebrows the lines should be less thick maybe and more smooth, they sorta 'feel' rough and same goes for the shading it shouldnt be so smooth, usually akira's style isnt so smooth, hmm its usually 'sharp' cuts between color graduation. Also on his right hand one of the fingers *cough* is very messed up LOL
Also that little piece of cloth that is over his face should be under i think... i dunno makes the arm look very strange just try playing around with these things Hmm what else, the skintone is a bit off i think, I THINK, im not too sure havent seen any db/z/gt anytime lately
