All the works are fantastic! They all have this ethereal magical feeling to them. Speechless. |

I won't try to be original when I say "WOW". Very nice work Enayla.
If I'd try to give at least one comment of critique, it'd be; (maybe I'm being very subjective here) balance your lights/darks bit more. I think some of the "distant" darks might be a little too dense.
But very inspiring work it is. Keep it up. |

Nice to see your work on the boards Enayla.
I really like the atmosphere created in the first two pieces, the autumnal look of the enviroment and the fae's dress and wings and the same with the second, the way she reflects the enviroment around her.
The third piece, hmmm. The second version looks a little cluttered but I prefer it to the first. The rendering of the rose and dragonfly is amazing, I didn't think it was possible to have that much detail.
The only crit I would like to make is that to me the left arm of the man on the last piece looks a little too long, maybe it's just me.
Are you still using Photoshop to create these? |

My, My... they are all so wonderful... but that first one is just perfectly beautiful. |

Good lord.
I like them all, but that first one simply takes my breath away. I could nit-pick on a few things, but why bother. Great stuff my lady.

Like I told davi, when he showed me this link in msnm, I'm honestly stunned. Every piece. I could learn so much from your colors. Friggin' amazing. |

I just measured the wallpaper potential of the first painting, and it went right off scale! OMG it's good! |

They are all awesome but like others have said, the first is my favourite. It is so rich but at the same time doesn't overwhelm you. |

I would reply in Swedish, but that would probably take a turn for the corny, so I'll just say "Wow" in English instead
As impossible as it sounds you've actually improved since last I saw your work.
Not only has my jaw been dropped, but it's also been oblitherated, dislocated and generally annihilated.
Totally amazing, I can think of *Nothing* else to say. |

Oooh, a TON of comments =D Thankeeee!!
jayceeL: Thank you =] I think they're my favourites.
iByrn: Yeah, you're right about the cig...heheh, too lazy to change it now though. *grin*
AdezJ: I'll try ;D Thanks!
jr: Awn, thank you =D
Vesuvius: Aaah, she's...err... flying? I know her pose is a little awkward, but I was running on a very tight time schedule, and now I don't have the time to go back and do anything about it =[ Thanks though =D
zak: o___O Me don't believe in marriage.
Unique: Heheh, thanks, I guess ;D Yeah, I know her hands are a little odd - it was me trying to draw a child. I've never drawn children before...
Atherium: Thank you very much. I spent a lot of time on the tree nymphs... if you'd like to, here's a few close ups on those girls:
kana: Thankee...
Xysryc: Thank you =]
stevethomas: Thank you... for closeup on the trees, see a little bit earlier in my response =D
Sumaleth: =D Thankyou...!
apolonboy: Thank you very much =]
Agrajag: I have to admit that I've looked at photos of real ballerinas for her feet ;] I've never danced ballet myself and I didn't want the post to be awkward =] Thank you very much for your input.
Sumire-chan: Thank you =) I am still a photoshop user... I've tried both programs, but I feel that all the options and all the different tools in Painter only distract me from what I want to do... so I stick with my merry old photoshop =]
Awetopsy: Hahah, well, glad I didn't make you cause a mess, at least ;D Thanks =D
Asurfael: *beams and bows*
Frost: Thank you very much
blok: Thank you =] The smooth soft look is part of my style, I guess, though quite a few people try to badger me into quitting it ;D The paintings are about 4500x4000 pixels at a 200 or 300 resolution, which was what the client asked me to work with.
Gimbal8: "___________________________" <-- Insert a thank you that is somehow worded differently than the others that I've attempted in this thread, but is still very grateful =D Heheh =D
Tree Merchant: Aw, thank you very much =D I'll try to post more at Sijun when I have time to draw again.
Lunatique: O___o Can't we just...adopt? Love you too, toots ;D
Matt Ryan: Heeh, well, then you haven't seen my not-so-impressive pictures that I hide somewhere on my hd ;] Thankee.
Fafnir: Ah, yesh... I love the porcelain look... thank you =]
shamhead: Aw, glad to hear they come to some use =D I think some of these are actually my most 'finished' works... I really spent a lot of time trying to make them complete.
Ian Jones: Thank you =D
davi: *beams and bows* Thank you very much. I use partial references if I have issues with things. A foot here, an elbow there... that kind of stuff. I won't claim that I can draw perfect anatomy - I get very uncertain sometimes, and then I dig a picture up - or snap a picture - to just get it 'right', you know? I hate for things to end up looking really wonky ;D
landmaster: Thanks =] I try to aim for, in a lot of my work, an ethereal and magic kind of feeling. I guess I just love to imagine a world that is more fascinating and enrapturing than the one where we live.
henrik: You know, I am so going to try to keep that in mind for my next paintings. Thank you very much - for crit and compliment alike =]
Axl: Thank you =D Yeah, I'm still an adobe photoshop user. I honestly gave Painter a chance but I didn't enjoy using it.
eyewoo: *curtsey* Thank you =D
Malachi Maloney: Thanks =D I personally feel that the first one might be my best one so far. I am very glad you like it =]
notic: ^____^ Thanks!
J. Tsang: Thankee!
hew: Thankeeeee =D
feebsaint: Hey, thank you =] Colours are actually one of my favourite interests. I just -love- working with colours alone sometimes. A ton of my pictures grow out of just big stupid blotches ;] But who are you to talk - you have a lovely use of colours yourself.
StrangeFate: Heh, I knooow, I use blue way too much. Glad you like them =D
lel: Heeeh, I plan to make a big, nice wallpaper out of it and post it somewhere one of these days =] Thanks.
pappuftp: Thank you =] And, yeah, I use airbrush.
Sumaleth: I soooo wish I did. I created these during an insane time schedule and I was so stressed out I didn't even think about it. I was stupid enough to flatten it down to just a few layers when it was done, so I can't even access the early background anymore. It sucks. I can give you a close up of her face, though - it's better than nothing...
iandredd: Thank you =]
Lolion: Thank you very much =) I try to improve and learn new things all the time. Trying to work on my backgrounds right now and I've half-half reached the look I want to achieve now. Glad it's appreciated =)
Well, anyway, thanks - again - for all the lovely replies =D |

You make we want to stop trying to be a filmmaker and go back to being an 'artist'! As we've all said before, each piece keeps getting better and I look forward to seeing more. |

I'm curious about what sort of business commissions your work, is this for books ? |

Oooooooo.....the closeup looks very nice too^^ Thanks for replying.......did you make pencil sketches and scan them first before coloring them in Photoshop or were they all created from scratch on the computer?? |

Spooky: Yesh, draw =] It's fun! *grins* Thanks.
Ian Jones: Thank you ^____^ I worked a lot on the details in these. Especially the autumn one.
Aber: Hahah, I know! It took me forever.
faB: Naw, t-shirts and postcards... and eventually, I'm going to sell these as posters.
Sumire-chan: Thanks =] I draw everything on the computer - my scanner is broken so I can't even scan textures anymore =[ I probably wouldn't use 'outside' sketches anyway, though - I feel that those pictures of mine lack the unity that those that are completely computer made have.
INNOCENCE: Thanks =]
Daijoobu: Tackar =D
Eaze1: Heheh, well, she certainly wasn't the model, but you might be right. Thanks. |

Praise her! Answers to all comments! That's as amazing as her artworks are! ^_____^
I have two last questions: how long did the first picture take and what PC/MAC (RAM, CPU, GFX card) do you use? |

Absolutely gorgeous images, Enayla. You never fail to impress. I especially love that second one, I guess because I like darker images, but that's just beautiful. And what's wrong with the mountains behind the dragonfly? I like them! Is it a client request? |
