I've already asked this in one of the threads, but I decide to post a whole new topic, I think it might help the future members as well.
Well the basic question is this... what is a good free web site host, which doesn't suffer from limited bandwidth, and allows you to link to the pictures directly.
So far I've tried Geocities, which is good but doesnt allow direct linking.
Netfirms is pretty good, but they have limited bandwidth per day, which disables your pictures once the limit has been reached.
Fateback is ok, but its kinda slow, plus it doesnt allow you to direct link either...
FortuneCity drives me crazy...
Please if you know good free web site hosts, reply with their names and links to them.
Thanks.
sorry about posting this in the "gallery/finished work" but this is the most popular section of forums, therefore a lot more people will see this thread... if its REALLY REALLY out of place, ill remove it.

I dont think this post quite belongs in the "Gallery/Finished work" forum but since everyone seems to be having the same problem I'll ignore that for a second
I'm not sure about this but I think www.deviantart.com lets you link to the images you have there, so my suggestion would be to try setting up an account there. |

Try Ranchoweb.com, I've just started using it and it works quite nicely. Its supposed to be used to post pictures and photos so its fine.
More importantly its free, so if you don't have the money or don't think your worthy to get your own domain then this one is fine... |

just use geocities. always rename your images as a .txt instead of a .jpg, then upload them as a .txt and use the image tags to display the image. should work. |
