Hi,
I found this place by accident, and it's exactly what I've been looking for.
A little info about myself to start:
Age:22
Location:Vancouver,Canada
Occupation:Student (programmer)
But my real desire is to draw/design/etc
So to start off my first post, here's a piece I finished a couple nights ago. It is a painting done of a friend, for a friend. I had a picture for reference, but it was so small and didn't help too much.. I started it at a medium-low resolution (regretting it now), some day I'll re-do it at high res. Hope you enjoy! 
*Tools used: Photoshop & a little bit of Painter. |

Those are some pearly whites. And the whites of her eyes: she wouldn't have lasted 10 seconds in the Revolutionary War.
Without a ref, I can't comment much further, with the exception that your signiture is very cool. Also, the light looks a little too artificial and confusing (stops following the facial features as you get to the cheeks). |

yea, I was thinking perhaps more shadow on her left cheek (right looking). I figured that about the teeth etc.. its not suppose to look TOO real, just real enough. hmm perhaps I can incorporate those changes and re release. Thanks! |

Like dogfood said the light, her eyes. I just want some more skin definition around the eyes, and definition in the hair.
