The contrast of her hair is a tad overdone IMHO. I'd still touch her nice... flower though.

What features did you use? Filters? I really like the effect, I agree that the contrast on the hair is a bit too much. The rest of the 'photo' has soft airy feel but the hair is quite harsh.

Could you post your starting materials? I'm curious to see how it was manipulated.

Thanks guys for commenting this.

Well, I am taking a break from painter and my tablet to learn a little about photoshop and its filters, and when I saw, I was already going deep on its features. Its fascinating!

For this pic, I used most the filters "Glass" and "Displace" to make the glassy hair. and also used many layers with diferents modes to compse the overlaping. ah, I also used a lot of "Layer mask" and "Layer Blending options".

Here is the original photo I started with,

I really like what you've done with this. It's like she has liquid hair

don't forget glowing edges. I do a fair amount of photomanip, and not to be mean, but that really doesn't seem that hard. But as I said, I do photomanip as well, so I can understand that sometimes its just beacuse it looks cool.

Love the look. You turned a professional photograph into your own fabulous work of art. Great work, hope to see more of it from you down the road. And I do like manipulation better than the origional.
