save as for the web under PS and then select GIF 80 colours and save, ur make a huge saving for the file

Did you actually work on the artwork for the hitman game or is this a copy of the original artwork?

If this is the original I think its nice if not then I think you should remember to state that it is a copy of the original.

Man I would love to believe you but if you look at the left hand side detail on the background it doesn't even move, the contrast changes but that is it and I find it really, really hard to believe that you could to or would even want to exactly duplicate that.

Well -- either you are lying or not. If you are telling the truth, then take all these complaints as compliments. Aside from a few details (the lapels of his jacket/ his gun/ect.) your version is right on. I also like yours better due to the higher contrast. If you are lying-- then, well, whoohoo. You are only doing yourself harm. In the future though, try sticking to more origional ideas. If you can draw this well, then I'd much rather see what you can create on your own.

hm first of all, yes I should have posted I had a reference...but um...this isnt the "original" notice how that pic on the site is different then mine...my friend showed me a thumnail of the pic and told me to draw it..so I got a sketch pad and drew it then went into photoshop and started to draw it..

thanks arcipello for going out of your way to make me look like Im taking full credit for it..but notice on other forums dod..etc..I said I did a sketch, I posted this morning in a rush for summer school..

so the chill the fuck out :P

well actually its the same image , theres very tiny details that are identical in both, youve slightly change the colour contrasts and airbrushed some of the face and a section of the gun, with a couple of extra scribbles added for good measure.
just take a look at the background brush strokes and marking, their identical. nuf said. i very rarely go on DOD forums anymore so obviously i aint seen your other stuff, just my honest opinion.

Actually drawing over a pic doesn't seem like such bad practice. I can see there are parts that are completely re-drawn. I could see this being a cool way to practice without making horrible pictures when you are just starting. Kinda like singing along with the radio.

I might do some of this for fun, but you can be damn sure I'm not gonna post anything on here. When you guys smell blood, body parts start flying!

It is now very obvious that guarnere's picture was a total ripoff and a paintover. I have often heard of people who has been trying to take the credit for other peoples hard work. Fortunately most times they are discovered very quickly and are remembered for copying in the future.
