I really like this (and the picture, too).
The texture of the table, glass and sweat ring are great. The reflections on the bottle remind me of Nancy Stahl's work (which I really admire).
The only things that detract a little are the neck leaning toward us to the right and the fact that the water on the table doesn't affect the shadow (oh, and the lettering doesn't quite match up with the top of the label).
Nice work, though, really. Truly. <runs to fridge> |

I love how at first glance it looks perfectly finished, but when I actually stare into the bottle, I can still see brushstrokesthats awesome. It looks like a digital painting of a bottle, not a bottle that tries to be a painting.
The reflection of the Brown logo at the bottom distracts me because it keeps pulling my eye off the picture when I want to stare at the bottle.
Amazing.
Now Im off to the fridge, too. |

I notice a little bit of aliasing on the neck of the bottle.
At first I thought it was a photo. Hehe. ^_-
I like the sort of cartoon realism look to it. ^^ At least, that's what the liquid shows me. XD |

Lots of good comments overall..I guess it wasn't a complete failure. I was beginning to believe I was losing touch with painting and was about to give up..Thanks for not letting me.
Although this was meant to be finished, I decided to go back and try and fix the neck and label a little..I also decided to desaturate it some to appear a little more real.
Thanks again,

the background seems not attached to the bottle due to the texturing. It's not the same style... But at first glance it doesn't really bother. Also, the bottle neck is tilted a bit to (our) right... Bottles tend to be symmetrical.
Just minor mistakes Over all, the painting looks really nice in my humble opinion. I love the glass effect. Keep it up. |
