thats really good i've never seen your stuff before and i lookde at yer page and your a pro at this! it must take a keen eye to this stuff. the fat orc on the right is the best. do you do a sketch of this kind of thing before you start puting on the black? is it done digitally or on paper then scanned in? |

Another impressive B&W. Getting objects to look right with just black and white is one thing, but to have all the objects look right and work together so that the black and white areas have balance and interest is a step above.
Mighty fine work, as usual. |

Hey Cos...how's things?
please tell me someone is paying you huge $$$ for this stuff now....?
awesome. very "bitsy" tho, could have some larger areas of black that are not broken up (more shiloette...mostly for clarity). but the large white sky makes it all work and it doesn't feel cluttered..the technique makes it all the more gritty actuialy.
you keep getting better=)...unlike me;) |

Toilet Phish - Thanks! It was done entirely in Photoshop, sketched/blocked on a white canvas, and worked into, (think painting with a palette of bw for the finishing stages).
Flat - Cheers dude! Glad that you liked it.
Gimbal - Thanks!
Jr - Cheers man, couldn't of got a better compliment really, those guys are my heroes.
Molako_Plus - Thanks for the kind words! always great to hear your work is inspirational to others.
Strange Fate - Thanx!
Rinaldo - Hey Man, hows it go? been a while. Cheers for the comps. Nah I wouldn't say I'm on the huge $$$ at all.. but it's cool. Still a way to go I guess =) Agree with what you're saying about having purer blacks, I left alot of areas pretty raw and sketchy, if I took it further I would likely need to do that. you should post something btw, it's been long to see your stuff, be keen to see what you've been working on!
Go - Thanks alot! Loved your character paintings btw!
edit- thought I'd stick another bw pic while I'm at it.

I know how hard it is to make a working piece with just black&white.
I must say you have done a great job! A true inspiration. More!
Cheers

GeEzuZ man, I with the rest of them.
I too think you should be out there making good money.
I'm taking back my that orc piece. Your evolution is crazy man. Thats one of the coolest things I've seen in while, hands down. Gritty realism like that is very rare imo. Amazing Cos bro. |
