Woohoo! [Happy dance] Forum is back up!...I think.
And I have something that took way more then 5 minutes to make.
It isn't completely technically accurate but it is my take on the Sisters of Battle anyway. C&C gladly accepted.

Yeah you little smart-ass.
She is a bit young for that rank, but the miniature for the sister superior weilds a bolter and a sword so hey, maybe it was a field promotion. lol. |

Thanks Mindsiphon. Yes, it does need a background. Color? I need to learn more about color before getting into that I think.
Original resolution is 1024x768. Kinda small, I know. Now that I know I can accomplish something like this I'll be more apt to start with higher resolutions I think. At least something suitable for 300dpi. |

I love it, her pose is great. Paintings like this one makes me wanna paint
I badly need some training, so if you weren't going to color it, would you mind if I gave it a try? |

Kinten: Thanks. I'll probably try coloring at some point but if you want to have a go at it feel free.
NeoFun: I never suspected to get as far as I did with this one so I didn't have anything else like a background and stuff planned for it. Probably put more planning in my stuff from now on though.
Psionic: Thanks for the invite. I did check it out and I'd like to pop over there but I really need to limit my forum activities because they suck up so much of my time. I bookmarked the site so you'll probably see me pop up there at some point. Nice job on the Seraphim, btw. |
