Just like to get some C&C's on these concepts/renderings. Nothing too fancy, your typical classic D&D monsters.... And a wide rough of a mid-evil town.
The middle image is the dragons front left jaw. (head facing at you)I know I should have labled that, hehe...
And here is your classic Beholder...
And last but not least the mid-evil town. If you noticed that any of the perspective is off that would be because I didn't use any rulers. I know that's nothing to be proad of but I was going for speed. Rulers slow you down but you get better results for sure. But when you have people that need the picture yesterday you dont always have time for the right tools. Anyway enough ranting and excuses....
Look forward to hearing any of your crits.
Thanks,
- Shawn

I'm no concept art expert, but my opinion is that the grey layer doesn't work well. It might be that it doesn't follow the texture of the form you've suggested with the linework. More contrast too, perhaps?
Just my quick impression, give it some thought. |
