not sure if this has been done before but heres how it works: Draw what youve dreamt!
very simple, and yet it can yeild some bizzar results.
usually after ive had a dream ill wake up and remeber a few scenes from it quite vividly, i expect its the same for most people.
ill get the ball rolling.
this scribble more or less shows what i dreamt about last night, all i remember was trying to hold on to a rubber dingy while a girl with a yellow bikini flew the bloody thing all over the place.
anyone else got a strange dream they want to try to illustrate? |

Arc][Pello your dream is cool... mine are always boring... :)
... I always forget my dreams when I wake up... the few I remeber is dark just like my painting, with some blurred words, ideas.

Fate, you picture is different, in a good way. The soberness gives it an appealing look. It's simple lines gives it a sooting look.
I need to know a bit more about tablets though. The Wacom site doesn't explain enough, and I want to know what kind of pictures a Graphire2 pad can accomplish. Help... |

It can accomplish anything, it's all up to the artist... try using the search function up top. |

YAHOO!! I do a little dance on my computer chair mat. Derm, your tip helped me out a bunch, the search. Cause I wasn't sure how detailed the Graphire2 tablet was, compared to the Intuos2. Cause so many people have the Intuos2, so I was just thinking. It helped me out a lot, please, if you don't mind. I'm going to excuse myself from this post and spend the rest of the night boogying at the computer. |

Lately I've been drawing what I dream, because for some reason I've been having really vivid dreams lately. I'll probably post some.... |

No illustration, but I've had a recurring dream where I leave my job (at midnight) and sneak across town to buy pornography from a little store that closes ten minutes after I'm done buying. Very strange. Lots of guilty Freudian overtones, sure. ^_^
Recently I dreamed that dream, but the store had converted into a Sam Goody or something. Even at midnight, there were families walking around buying CDs there.
The really weird part was that they kept a shelf of pornography just for me for when I showed up.
I can't stop thinking about it!
Heh heh heh! |

The store represents your superego. It locks itself away from any expectable forms of critique and reflection, at the point you executed the act of satisfying your needs (=pr0n) your supergo draws a borderline - what just happened is not meant to be of public interest. Speaking of a guilty conscience...

Interesting. Your facade of innocence (="Sam Goody") is cleft. That means you're well aware of the fact it's impossible to return to a state of innocence, no matter how much it seems to be possible at the first glance.
Let me conclude: YOU'RE A TOTAL PSYCHO AND YOU'RE GONNA RUN AMOK ONE DAY WHEN YOU REALIZE IT'S THE EVIL SOCIETY THAT TOOK AWAY YOUR (MENTAL) VIRGINITY YOU ARE DESPERATELY LOOKING FOR.
Where's that picture of the guy offering a gun and ammunition again... |
