I promised myself I wouldn't say anything bad and heinous like "Man, that's a lot of pussy", so I won't...oops!

This is Archie, a very portly cat. Some birds must have abducted him and put him in this tree, because he sure as hell didn't climb.

Fantastic.

Reminds me of Thomas Kinkade's work a bit.

Latsami - Hey, thanks! It is not my usual palette...glad it went over well.

jr - The shadows are where they always are--lurking in one of my darker paintings. I don't like to put too many in my cheerier pics...they ruin the happy mood, I think. Just a somewhat bizarre style choice, I guess. Still experimenting with it.

Icannon - Thank you! I'm still trying to duplicate what I can do with oils on the computer...messing around with more adventurous brushwork.

pixelsoldier - Cool!

ebrian - Thanks, I think! That was the effect I hoped for...sleepy, warm, summery....

Sumaleth - Bang. That was the sound of me shooting myself in the head, because I hate Thomas Kinkade...fortunately, though, I missed the brain and just shot my face off. Now I am going back to my previously scheduled paintings of horrible rats. (Okay, actually, I'm going back to RPG art, but, hey, a girl can dream!) No, seriously, thanks for the compliment, there--glad you liked it.
