I never do space stuff, so i thought I'd give it a whirl. Although, theres not a lot of technology, and its in a stone temple, so it doesn't even really count that much. I also thought I'd try playing with textures like I did in the old days.

Most of this piece has alot of texture except the face. It stands out a little because of it and honeslty doesn't flow too well with the rest of the image. I looks good minus the textural imbalance. |

I like the simple, quiet look to this piece but I have to agree with bld about the textures. Whilst they look good I think that if they had only been used on the stone and her armour (the shoulder pads and the arm bands) and you had left the body suit in the same style used on her face and helmet it may look more balanced. |

Looks good Isric. always have been a fan of your sharp cell shading. I think the only reason that the textures don't go well is it seems that the texture on the wall is the same , continued texture on the body. Maybe if you just scrapped the texture on the body all together - may turn out right. Face is amazing though. |

Matt, I dont really know what to say first.. I think the textures arent really appropriate to the character.. although I must admit I love your drawing, but you know that already..
But dont let anything stop you from working out the textures more.. Im sure it could be very unique once you get a solid technique working for you. |

I like it. the head doesn't fit w/ the rest of the body though... to much textures I guess... nice piece |
