I assume that's a photomanipulation?

That's a really nice image, but there's something about the object in the center that isn't quite grounded and isn't quite clear. It's confusing.

Yeah, nice stuff! It's very nicely composed, but could use a little composition, if you know what I'm saying. My eyes kept going to the blurs around the edge of the ship (which is awesome, yes), and then to the clouds (awesome) and the way across to the guy and then the footprints...

Maybe I'm all wacky, but I can't stay on one part. Too many elements vying for attention.

Whether it's photo or hand-drawn, I love it.

hi guys!

this image was a composition excercise. Its a mixture of painted objects and photo-objects. I had a blast creating this one.

Regarding your other questions. I use Photoshop, and yes...i to feel like the object in the center is not defined as well as i should/could be.

thx for your comments!

Cheers!

Yeah, Sumaleth's comment about the centre object is right. Something about the underneath seems to bright, like it's being lit from a different lightsource.

Anyway, I really like the whole atmosphere of this pic. Really nicely done.

Velcommmmm... to our... home...

just define the lighting on th ship more, at the moment the shadowy sections are too light and it seems somewhat flat, its doesnt look as though it would take too long to correct the lighting.
