Cool beans. Hmmm. The picture is lacking depth, everything seems to be on a single plane. Try making shadows and dynamic lighting effects. Ill send a copy to show you.

thanks, but I actually left it without shadows because I also intend to colour it, but I figured I'd just post the sketch first to see what people think.

that was an amazing hour long waste of time, ignore the star guardins thing, I honestly don't care that it magicly appeared, without me linking it.

Not bad, but I think there are two primary things that are killing this picture. First is the sketchy lines. Sketchiness can be good at times, as it often captures motion and life, a quality overworked drawings often fail at. But you seem to have a sketchiness within each stroke, like you're afraid of where the pencil might go if you don't keep noodling it. Be confident and plan out each stroke, rather than slowly and hesitantly scribbling them. It will make the picture a lot more solid and will probably be much cleaner and easier to read. The other thing I think could be worked on has already been mentioned, and that's the depth. What kills the depth is how everything is uniformly sized and detailed. The spikes in the background are all of similar size, and are just as prominent as the foreground scene. Tone them down. Make them lighter and smaller as they recede into the horizon. Maybe use some light shading on all of the spikes, and have them fade into white as they go further back. Just remember that if details become harder to discern as they go further into the background.

The history behind some of these pictures are quite funny actually. One of them, the one with the chaingun on the block, almost got confiscated by our French teacher Mrs. Slapjack. I remember LalPoo was drawing them and she came and went biserk. The best pic up here is the BURN picture. The glowing plasma adds to the niceness.
