the thing about Pollock was that the mediums were real in space, they had an actual depth and were so large that Pollock actually got INTO the paintings to create them... this idea is somewhat lost in the digital field I suppose... although I never appreciated Pollock's work that much anyway, he seemed like a famous drunk to me |

I think this worked out very well. You really managed to capture the rhythm and look of Pollock's work. It lacks a little of the random texture of an actual painting, but I think it's still very much in the spirit of what he was trying to achieve.

it looks pretty cool, there is depth to it. i never quite understood this style myself though. glad you decided to post though, keep em coming. btw, cool website.

This one was done in Photoshop, I would like to try to get a copy of Painter and try to caputre the paint more. Thanks all of you for your comments. Glad you like my site

I don't like it personally. But I have to agree with everyone that you have done a good job of getting the style.
I can see your designer influence in this. I can hear it screaming! "I gotta balance this bit of blue with that bit of yellow!" , "There... that looks like an even spread".
I do like the little dot textures, and the positioning of them. |
