Been trying to sketch with the wacom more. This is just an experiment, messing with colors and composition. Any thoughts?

My first though: Pretty damn tight for a sketch. My second thought: penis envy.

I like the composition. If it were me I'd solidify the mech by getting rid of the of white lines running through it from the orange..stuff. Then maybe backlight the mech with orange and make the shadow some other color, but one that works with the other two in some way.

If they ever make a new version of Einhander, they should consider this design.

Yo Jake.

Nice graphic, I was just wondering why you are trying to use the tablet more? I used to use the tablet all the way through but since getting a scanner have found that doing gesture drawing with pencil is superior.

Jake.

How you can get such control with the wacom I will never understand.

Clearly I've been breaking my hands before using mine every time and not knowing it.

Very cool graphic composition.

Phil.

thanks for your thoughts everyone.
Roundpie - Where you been? Yeah, straight form the wacom, 300dpi, so up close the lines are really messy. Like here:

Gimbal8 - I forget, what's Einhander?

greenpeach - For quick stuff and experiments like this I want to use the tablet, just to eliminate the middle man. for more finished stuff I definatley scan in a line drawing.

zak - yeah, but EVERYONE does shiny black with yellow (or red) bits.

Ornicar - glad you enjoyed the site.
