I should be working on my freelance, but I did these instead. Blondie is sort of an evolution of this character:

I love that environment sketch. You captured a mood with your perspective, which doesn't happen often, in my opinion. I definitely feel the dark/depressing, sorta post-apocalyptic thing.

I love the perspective on the environment sketch. Has a lot of energy.
The character is great too, I especially like the gestural quality you have going in the arms and hands.

What up Francis? How's Angel treatin' you? Anyway, the composition and scale issue in the top pix is cool. What I've problem with iz, maybe cuz it's just a sketch, I sense a non-commital feel to the lines. Is this intentional? Or maybe you skipped your lunchee that day.

The girl pix, the lines especially around her right arm is bold and has strength, and the middle "zigzag" line has carefee flare to it.

I think the posing in that second picture is damn frickin' cool and pic one reminds me of some moody AKIRA backgrounds. Which is good.

Hi guys

I forgot I posted these here. Thanks for the comments and feedback. I do have a habit of drawing women slightly too buff in the shoulders, I'm not sure why. It never looks wrong at the time, but when I look at it later it looks jacked.

I'm hoping to eventually be as comfortable with the figures as I am with architectural forms. I think figures are way harder...

Ed, probably just non-committal lines - it was a very quick sketch, maybe ten minutes. I was trying to do a quick version of a piece of concept art I did at work, to look at other lighting/color schemes, and also to have something non-NDA I could post.
